Umut Yalim was born in Istanbul, in 19.08.1984. He’s done his BA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of the Arts (2003-2007) and MA in Book Arts at Camberwell College of Art & Design (2007 -2008) in London.
He still runs a Fine Art gallery called GaleriBu in Istanbul, Turkey. He’d like to call him self an anti-artist and an anti-poet. He composes his works in this direction both in Fine Art and literature. His poems and anti-poems have been published in literary magazines such as Varlık, Adam Sanat, Yasakmeyve, Bitap (Digital), Bozuk, Çevrimdışı, Orlando, Barbarları BeklerkenYelkensiz.
