Born on 1st September 1991 in Kerch, Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ihor Mitrov is a Ukrainian poet, critic, essayist. He Studied at the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He is the author of poetry books Голландський кут (2019) and Голос України (2021).
With an active participation in the literary life of Ukraine, he serves as an organizer and participant of many literary and artistic events, especially at the International Arsenal Book Festival and the Book Forum Lviv. He is one of the founders of the St. Sibert the Light Literary Order, an informal open literary society aimed at popularizing modern Ukrainian literature.
