Harry Man was born in 1982 in Aylesbury. He is the Poet in Residence at StAnza Poetry Festival in St. Andrews, Scotland 2016. His pamphlet, ‘Lift’ was published by Tall Lighthouse in 2013. In 2014 he won the UNESCO Bridges of Struga Award and he was shortlisted for the ‘Best Pamphlet’ at the Saboteur Awards. He has produced a wide range of interdisciplinary poetry, collaborating with contemporary dancers, creating videogame poems, as well as utilising raw materials from ecologists and data from the LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory). His poetry has been translated into Swedish, German, Slovakian and Macedonian. He is a 2016 Hawthornden Fellow and he teaches at Oxford Brookes University.
