gaps opening in his mind effacing any tender feeling from his face
rootless directionless keyless ill-tempered
in the depths so many torn ends-of-the-day on the surface exitless beings embracing flames he kisses the fire makes love to the fire
the person buries his own mysteries
steps
broken lines on the needle pine shaken by the wind the tendency to grass of the cat with a stomach ache paw prints on ash an established communication gap mechanism
yet all there is to life cums on the shore beyond
a long wounding slope life’s steps
soundproof interior unseen falls into existence--a dry p sound alone softly touches the soul
