Before The Calm Face of death with eyes open precise to the extent that we closed ourselves to its understanding we had our fill like obscene animals unavoidable savages of civilization we saw nothing but felt our bodies mutually indistinguishable between the heat and terror of touch without knowing for sure whether presence or absence whether alive or gone forever

The Soft moisture of the flesh calls for moments of dense obscenity and watching two feet pass by shod in silk her pupil lost beneath the eyelid vigilance melancholy delirium extreme seduction on the edge of horror the fascinating darkness of the face with one eye gouged out a thousand eyes drawn to the spectacle of torment about to happen
