Si algunas veces has estado Has sido presencia Si como sombra o luz si como voz o llamado, sollozo tal vez —grito nocturno Si como tempestad oculta detrás de los ojos sueño o verdad conciencia aterrada o conmovida despojamiento o plenitud Solo perplejidad quizá Vértigo del sentido los sentidos Cerrar aquí la puerta tu puerta a lo imposible como quien se va como quien un día —desaparece. Pedro Arturo Estrada – Colombia -1956. He has published Poemas en blanco y negro (Poems in Black and White (Editorial Universidad de Antioquia, 1994); Fatum (Colección Autores Antioqueños 2000); Oscura edad y otros poemas (Dark Age and Other Poems (National University of Colombia, 2006); Suma del tiempo (Sum of Time (Externado University of Colombia, 2009); Des/historias (Un/Histories (Cuadernos Negros Editorial, 2012); Poemas de Otra/parte (Poems from Somewhere/Else (Cuadernos Negros Editorial, 2012); Locus Solus (Sílaba editores, 2013); Blanco y Negro (Black and White, a new selection of texts (Amazon, 2014); Monody (Amazon, 2015); Late Song (Amazon, 2020). He is the recipient of the Ciro Mendía National Prize in 2004, the Luciano Pulgar Dreams Prize in 2007, the Medellín Mayor's Office Creation Grant in 2012, the Casa Silva Prize in 2013, and the Ministry of Cultures Prize in 2023, among others. He has also participated in poetry festivals and gatherings in Colombia and the United States. His texts have been translated into English, Romanian, Portuguese, Arabic, Greek, and French, among others.
