​Patrick Cotter was born and still lives in Cork, Ireland. He works full-time as Artistic Director of the Munster Literature Centre. He was founder editor of the Irish section on www.poetryinternationalweb.net He has edited special Irish issues of POETRY (Chicago), Riddle Fence (Canada) and Shanghai Literature. He has published several volumes of poetry himself including chapbooks, a verse novella and two collections.  His own poetry is much translated with volumes available in Macedonian and Swedish. He is a recipient of the Keats-Shelley Prize for Poetry.
