Gábor Lanczkor - Guest Editor for ISSUE XXVII
Born 22nd February,1981 in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, Gábor Lanczkor did his PhD in Ekphrasis in 20th century Hungarian literature which was published in Hungarian in 2016 Before this he pursued Post gradual studies at SZTE-Faculty of Arts, Szeged, Hungary and was educated at ELTE-Faculty of Arts, Budapest, Hungary.
Gábor is an Independent scholar, writer and was a Lecturer at SZTE-Faculty of Arts from 2008-2012.
His Prizes and Scholarships include Gérecz Attila-prize (for the best first published poetry book of the year – A tiszta ész) in 2006 , Quasimodo Memorial Prize in 2015, József Attila-prize in 2016, Füst Milán-prize in 2016 and many others.
His collections in English include Sound Odyssey (Selected Poems), Poetrywala, Mumbai, 2016. He has authored eleven books and has been a guest lecturer at Ambedkar University, Delhi University, Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre.
