“People live down here and there’s you gaping at the view” My love is scolding me Hallelujah ; loneliness has done us in Ashes is hardness in our lungs ; Hallelujah where are the people, where their fires
“Plane-trees our mistakes” My love breaks my heart Half in the shade half in the light With the ocean’s sandals as ploughs on its feet Like water that doesn’t hold it against gurgling time
My love is a world of no illusions Nature’s quadrilateral garment Male and female elucidation Verbs that arrange significance Enamel in beauty’s mould
The earth’s basements boil and islands pour out My hands take on a feeling The heart’s cables boil and conscience pours out My blasphemous love doesn’t parley with the government It swarms up summer’s pulse, up the mast of truth My love Jerusalem New York, Peking, Mecca, Poor Suburbs My love has removed the European locket from its neck
By word of mouth comes the silence of change My love, a donor of surprise and unforeseen change not in the programme My love pays its taxes by painting densely populated curtains unscrewing burnt candles from human failures saving nooses of certain throttling correcting equations on the blackboard of souls washing away the blood on market floors
Love and only love is not an invention, man’s making Magnetic storms don’t make cockeyed the stars’ kisses My love cannot be threatened Frigates of birds sound the turning of thought The bitterness of irrevocable ice and the ransom for the shores’ lost sight
My love shouts that summer’s funeral should be at the public expense It averts the evil eye when bankers dream This yes, it’s social justice! Your god is smaller than his fame
My love is whatever turns, without cuts, proud and vigorous in the next life Bridles on voters of nought My love is whatever shudders without wearing
It’s the chapel where ruined loves kiss each other longingly The lid of the transparent world The “no” and the “don’t” My love is the scanning, the approach, the touch The relentless rain and shelter My love assumes responsibility
My love is free speech

HAVE A MISSION
I have a mission ∙ to have the light return to power wherefore a man was prevented to speak wherefore a man was prevented to go through and if everything has a price what we are deprived of is priceless I have a mission to have the light return to power for every forgotten neighborhood of my heart, for every illiterate cell for every open minded kiss, for every night that the youth recommend us for every generation that creates its own rhythm
I have a mission to have us arrested red-handed the moment we are dreaming to make a disorder of anger, besides so much anger cannot be swallowed to resist the lonely and disciplined citizens because the past years we lacked nothing, mainly nothingness
I have a mission because nowadays freer roads exist and more genuine fears the water-level changes inside us, the old morality cannot swim what is born tonight is an opportunity against what grows dark and a condition for the dream dimensions to grow I have a mission now when times call us to be present to reality to imagine our chains becoming anchors raising us to settle our accounts with the winners and what was officially declared to pay off Gods and technology to deny poverty as the new religion
The moment to live is approaching dangerously the time is always now and the place always the road and the poets always here to write about the exploits of light and darkness
I have a mission to have the light return to power the girls not to grow up separate from their own self the boys to grow into men besides order and security and we who crumple our life in order to be wrapped up by something warmer we know that the soul is lulled to sleep by the achievements of will power that love is the raised hand behind a banister the birth of a body with two mother tongues and a city is a just re-evaluation of life No wind sees the horizon as an end or a frontier and no man believes that the sun is dead or a deserter when the night falls I have a mission to mortgage our darkness and step by step to talk again it is a torture such a silence Beauty will be paid off after all the fear we have drunk because the boat burning in the middle of the sea has a wooden soul because by dawn returns home the drunken truth because the only resistance to a blind world is the great acts because hatred is time without lips
It is a waste of time not to exist I have a mission to have the light return to power to the natural object of life, to the renewable pleasures
